WEBSITES FOR ATTORNEYS

Websites for attorneys. Clear help when people need it.

Someone visiting a law firm’s website may be dealing with a difficult decision. I design attorney websites that make your practice areas, people, and inquiry process clear, with a professional presentation that still feels approachable.

Answer the first questions before asking for the whole story.

Visitors need to know whether you handle their kind of matter, serve their jurisdiction, and offer an appropriate next step. Your website should help them find those answers without expecting them to understand legal terminology or disclose sensitive details too early.

Professional credibility, with a human introduction.

We organize the site around your actual practice, accurate attorney biographies, and a clear intake route. I help with the words and design; your firm reviews the legal content, advertising claims, and disclosures before anything is published.

Your jurisdiction and your working arrangements belong in the message.

An office address, courts or jurisdictions served, and options for remote consultations can mean different things. We describe your firm’s real arrangements accurately. I’m based in Wyoming, Pennsylvania, and handle website planning and reviews remotely with you.

A law firm website should make a difficult first step easier

A visitor may be comparing firms after a referral, looking for help with a business decision, or trying to understand an unfamiliar problem. They need a clear introduction to the work you do and the people they might contact. The design should help them navigate, read, and take an appropriate next step on a phone.

That starts with specific practice areas. “Business formation and contract advice” gives a small-business owner somewhere to begin. A page filled with broad promises may look impressive while leaving them unsure whether you handle their matter at all.

Use practice-area pages to explain fit

A useful practice-area page can describe the types of matters you handle, who the service is intended for, the jurisdictions that apply, and how an initial inquiry works. It should leave room for the distinctions your firm considers important. You supply or review the legal substance; I help make it readable and easy to find.

If your firm has several areas of practice, we choose a page structure that gives the important ones enough space. Separate pages make sense when they answer different questions. We agree on that structure within your package, including whether additional pages are needed.

Make the attorney biographies worth reading

Real photographs, current admissions, relevant experience, and a clear explanation of an attorney’s focus help people understand who they would be contacting. Use verified qualifications and claims your firm can stand behind. A visitor should be able to identify the person responsible for the work, especially in a solo or small practice.

Design intake around the firm’s actual process

A first-contact form should collect only what you need to route the inquiry. That might be contact details, a broad matter category, and the relevant location. Your firm should decide what information it needs before checking fit or conflicts, and where any fuller account should be provided.

We can display the contact notice your firm approves beside the form. The confirmation should explain what happens next and avoid implying that submitting the form alone creates a lawyer-client relationship. Links to an existing client portal or consultation tool can be planned as part of the agreed scope.

Keep the firm in control of claims and legal content

Your website is a communication about your services. The ABA’s Model Rule 7.1 addresses false or misleading statements, but your own jurisdiction’s requirements need to guide the final content. Your firm reviews biographies, testimonials, results, advertising language, and any required notices before launch.

I can build the presentation around approved material. I would not invent a result, imply a specialty certification you do not hold, or write a guarantee about an outcome. The website can be persuasive by clearly showing what you actually do and how people can begin.

A practical starting structure for a small firm

  • Home: who the firm helps, principal practice areas, and contact options.
  • Practice Areas: an organized overview or a focused service page within the agreed page plan.
  • Attorneys or About: the people and verified experience behind the firm.
  • Working With Us: the inquiry process and practical expectations the firm wants to explain.
  • Contact: office details, jurisdictions or service arrangements, and the approved intake route.

That is a five-page example, including the homepage. If a firm needs several detailed practice-area pages, we can use the five slots differently or quote additional pages. Optional content and local search work can be discussed after the foundation is right.

Work directly with the person building the site

I begin with a free homepage preview so you can see a proposed direction. If you move forward, we confirm the scope, collect the approved material, and build for your review. You work directly with me on the presentation and feedback. Clear decisions matter more than how many people we can fit into a project meeting.

Questions about attorney website design

Do you work with solo attorneys and small firms?

Yes. We can build around a focused practice and the person clients will know, or organize a small team’s practice areas and biographies. The page plan follows the actual firm.

How much does a law firm website cost?

A1 Website Foundation is $1,995 and includes up to five core pages, copywriting, custom WordPress design, initial on-page SEO and an inquiry form. A1 Design & Grow is $2,995. A1 Brand Relaunch is $3,995. The two larger packages include up to five core website pages, five additional local service-area pages, initial on-page SEO, and the agreed lead magnet and follow-up setup. A1 Brand Relaunch also includes blog setup and the agreed brand materials. We confirm the pages, features and scope before you pay. Larger projects are quoted separately.

Will you handle our advertising rules?

Your firm must provide or approve the content and notices appropriate to its jurisdiction. I can implement approved wording and design around it. Legal and professional-rule review stays with the firm.

Can you connect our existing portal or intake software?

We can discuss links and suitable integrations with the tools you already use. Share the provider, intake requirements, and any access constraints before we agree on the build.

Can you guarantee search rankings or new matters?

No. I focus on clear practice information, usable pages, sound search foundations, and an appropriate inquiry path. Demand, competition, your practice, and how people reach the website all affect results.

How does payment work?

Website builds are 50% upfront and 50% after you approve the build. Your free homepage preview requires no payment. Optional one-time services are paid upfront; monthly services are billed for the full monthly amount.
